Mandala - means circle in the Sanskrit language
Mandala is something magical, with lots of geometry and historically connected to astronomy and healing of inner peace.
A little history of how I started - I always loved spending my free time in drawing, especially imaginary illustrations and I did Art in school uptil SC level. My mother would always discourage me to pursue my studies in this field, so I kept it as a passion.
I never drew mandalas before, but the fact that I love halcyon lines, miniature drawings and designs, this led me to draw a Ganesha one day at work. That was back in 2016, when I was working in a law firm. I had a little free moment and I just started with a pen and paper.
Voilà, it turned out to be a Ganesha silhouette filled with patterns. This led me to draw various silhouettes including unicorn, Buddha, and then a Circle. Then I realised that I'm doing Mandalas unconsciously. I sank into Google for a few researches and found the true meaning. I was awed and mesmerized to see such wonderful arts done around the world. This is how my passion for mandala art grew day by day.
I emancipated my drawings and started with big canvas, murals, pebbles, surfboards, triplex, cement surface, sand surface, tattoos and even kanwars for Maha Shivratree. I even did an Expo for Rushmore University during the Bahidora Festival in 2019. This is something I love to do and I'm passionate about.
I have started taking orders for room canvas and murals for those who would appreciate my work. Hence my inspiration is Shiva, nature, myself and my half – Varma, who always push me to draw and be creative. I surely look forward to show my works to the world through expositions and social networking.
My word to the world is – Trust your guts people, do what you love and unleash your creativity anywhere possible."
